Win11 XLite 24H2 mods suggestions request
Hi all, I've succesfully installed XLite Win11 Pro 24H2 on my old i7 7700k machine. It works like a charm!
Is there a way to make app folders in start menu as the plain Win11 ( i do it in my i9 9900k laptop)?
Is there a way to attivate dark themes on Calculator and Picture Viewer as the plain Win11?
I'm using the admin account, should i make a plain user account? And if yes, given that i've installed already several apps, will they be visible on the new account?

Hi Alfonso, Windows LTSC is a version of Windows Enterprise, that is, a special corporate version of Windows, modified and deblotched... obviously since some features have been debloted and some apps are missing and will have to be installed manually, including the apps normally installed in Windows (apps do system).
as regards customization, you will first have to activate windows LTSC with an Enterprise license key: since the customization features are blocked, unless windows is activated;
regarding some programs there is no dark version.

Do you have a suggestion on how to make app folders in start menu? Seems that draggin apps one over another does not work.

Hi Alfonso, as regards the apps to install, this depends a bit on your needs... if you don't need specific programs for the PC and you use it normally without any problem, then there's no need to install the apps pre-installed system m in windows: since most of them are just bloatware apps... the only thing is that you would be missing the versions of the most recent apps and you would have older versions of them: for example you will not have the terminal, but you will have the CMD and Power Shell; you won't have the new notepad, but you will have the old notepad; you won't get the new snipping tool, but you will get the old one... these are the only apps I would recommend you install, obviously only if you need them.
as regards the folders: you must first create them on the desktop, then right-click on it and press add to start.
